just extract the files into a directory then tell windows to search for the drivers into the directory

here are those I don’t have in the “drivers” folder, I haven’t checked DriverStore yet, will do so later (unless you have a super fast way of comparing that I could use?)

I’m on Windows 7 ultimate 64bit.
I’m not really good with computers, I get around on XP but I’m kinda lost on 7… I found how to make lists (thank you google)… is there a way to compare lists easily? because there are a LOT of files on that list…

“it_windows_vista_x64_dvd_X12-61200.iso” is the officiale MSDN name (you can access to it with MSDNAA / MAPS or whatever special microsoft partnership might give you access to that kind of resources)

this is the filelisting of the drivers files available into that iso (it’s a 64bit ISO):

try to compare it to your ISOs content and let me know if the files are the same.

are you on a 32bit or 64bit os?

… well I couldn’t find the correct vista iso… so I tried with several others… where can I find the one specified?

uhm… in the vista dvd there isn’t that file… so it should be looking at something else…

in my case it worked ok with the iso specified in the post :/

I did not do any reinstall after that try
